QA & Automation Specialist
Fully remote across Latin America (LATAM) | EST working hours required
Hi!
We're LinkGraph, an SEO software company (and full-service digital agency) focused on engineering products and services that help websites improve their performance on Google. We are a rapidly growing organization with clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to leading Silicon Valley tech startups, and we're looking to bring on an amazing Head of AI Search to help us propel our growth.
If you're smart, ambitious, and passionate about working for a tech company, we want to hear from you!
LinkGraph is looking for a Front-End QA & Web Operations Specialist, someone to own the quality and reliability of every web property we touch — client sites and internal platforms alike. You'll blend sharp visual QA against Figma prototypes with AI-driven automation, using Claude Code to build review pipelines that reduce manual work over time.
Beyond QA, you'll monitor uptime, catch performance regressions, and keep our properties healthy long after launch. We're not looking for someone who runs a checklist — we're looking for someone who looks at a checklist and immediately thinks about how to automate it, improve it, and make it obsolete. If you're self-directed, detail-obsessed, and treat automation as a core part of how you work, this role was built for you.
What You'll Do
Front-End QA — Client & Internal Sites
Own end-to-end QA for all web pages and features across both client deliverables and internal Search Atlas properties — layout, spacing, typography, color, responsiveness, interactions, and component behavior — measured against Figma prototypes.
Catch what others miss: cross-browser inconsistencies, edge-case breakpoints, subtle animation issues, and content errors that slip through development.
Maintain a living standard of accepted front-end behavior derived from Figma files so every review has a clear, documented benchmark.
Partner with designers and developers during handoff to get ahead of ambiguity before it becomes a bug.
Internal Site Maintenance & Monitoring
Take ownership of the ongoing health of all internal web properties — you're the first to know when something breaks and the first to fix it.
Set up and manage uptime monitoring, performance tracking, and alerting so issues are caught proactively, not reactively.
Perform routine maintenance: plugin and theme updates, content corrections, broken link audits, and post-launch QA sweeps.
Document known issues, resolved fixes, and site-specific quirks so institutional knowledge doesn't live in one person's head.
AI-Driven Automation with Claude Code
Use Claude Code as a core part of your workflow — not as a novelty, but as a force multiplier that extends what you can review, how fast, and how reliably.
Build automated review pipelines that compare live and staging implementations against Figma benchmarks, flagging visual regressions, interaction failures, accessibility violations, and content errors without a human in the loop for every pass.
Develop prompt workflows and scripts that run QA checks on deploys automatically — shrinking the manual surface area of the job over time, on purpose.
Stay current on AI tooling. If there's a smarter way to do something than how you did it last quarter, you've already found it.
Independent Ownership & Reporting
You define what "ready to ship" means, run your own checks, and make the call — no spot-checking, no waiting for leadership sign-off on what you already know.
Produce clear, structured QA and site health reports that the team can act on directly without a walkthrough from you.
Spot patterns in recurring issues and bring root-cause recommendations — not just bug tickets.
Know when and how to escalate: you don't need hand-holding, but you can clearly articulate to leadership what you need — whether that's tooling, access, bandwidth, or a decision — to keep quality from being compromised. You advocate for what the role requires to succeed.
What we're looking for
Front-End Fluent
3+ years in a front-end QA, web operations, or testing role, with a sharp eye for visual detail and deep familiarity with how browsers render the web.
Strong working knowledge of HTML and CSS; comfortable enough with JavaScript to inspect, debug, and reason about front-end issues.
Experienced with Figma — you can navigate a prototype, inspect specs, and use it as an authoritative reference without help.
Familiar with WordPress and/or Shopify environments, including how themes, plugins, and updates can affect site behavior.
AI-Obsessed
You've used Claude Code or comparable AI-powered tools in a real workflow — not just experimented with them.
You think about how AI can change the method, not just speed up the existing one.
You're able to write effective prompts, build lightweight automated pipelines, and know when to let automation run unsupervised.
Reliable & Self-Directed
You treat monitoring and maintenance as real craft, not administrative overhead — things staying up and running cleanly is something you take personally.
You don't wait to be told what to improve. If a process is inefficient, you fix it.
High standards aren't imposed on you — they come from you.
Self-sufficient by default, but not siloed — you know how to communicate blockers, resource needs, and risks to leadership in a way that's concise, confident, and actionable. You don't escalate noise, but when something needs to be heard, you make sure it is.
You communicate clearly in writing, because your reports should never need a verbal follow-up to be understood.
Nice to Have:
Experience with uptime and performance monitoring tools (e.g., UptimeRobot, Datadog, New Relic, or similar).
Familiarity with WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards and automated a11y tooling.
Experience with visual regression tools (Percy, Chromatic, or custom screenshot diffing).
Background in front-end development — understanding how things are built makes you faster at finding what's broken.
Salary & Benefits
$13 – $26 per hour.
15 Days Paid Time Off + Christmas Day + New Year's Day paid off.
How We Measure Success
Zero surprise regressions on client or internal properties that were within scope of the QA process.
Internal sites stay healthy — uptime, performance, and content accuracy are monitored and maintained proactively.
Automation coverage grows — a higher percentage of QA criteria runs without manual execution each quarter.
Reports are self-sufficient — the team acts on them directly, no clarification needed.
