Brand Strategist & Creator
Search Atlas is hiring a Brand Strategist & Creator to be the creative engine behind our brand. This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who can think strategically about brand and content while also rolling up their sleeves to make things — writing scripts, directing shoots, editing timelines, and shipping content that people actually want to watch and share.
You will be at the center of everything our brand produces: founder-led video content, social media assets, product storytelling, event coverage, educational series, and category-defining thought leadership. You will manage our entire video production workflow — coordinating external videographers, internal video editors, and freelance talent — while also being someone who can personally create high-quality content when needed.
This is not a “sit in meetings and make slide decks” role. This is a maker role with strategic responsibility. You will work closely with our founders, our VP of Brand, and the broader marketing team to build a content machine that rivals the best in tech.
This role is based in San Francisco (in-person) with some travel required for shoots, events, and on-location content production.
About Search Atlas
Search Atlas is an agentic marketing platform that combines SEO, content, site management, and AI-powered automation into a single system. We are a $30M+ ARR company with 215 employees, building the future where AI agents handle the execution layer of marketing while humans focus on strategy and creativity.
We are defining the category of “agentic marketing” — and we need a content creator and production leader who can help us tell that story in the most compelling, visual, and shareable way possible.
What You Will Own
1. Video Production Management
You will own the end-to-end video production workflow for Search Atlas. This means:
• Managing and coordinating external videographers, freelance shooters, and production crews for founder interviews, product demos, event coverage, and brand films.
• Overseeing our internal video editing team — assigning projects, reviewing cuts, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring timely delivery.
• Building and maintaining production workflows, asset libraries, and project management systems so video production runs smoothly at scale.
• Scouting locations, managing production schedules, coordinating talent, and handling the logistics of in-person shoots in San Francisco and on location (events, summits, partner shoots).
• Managing video production budgets, vendor relationships, and equipment.
• Ensuring all video content meets brand standards for quality, tone, and visual identity.
2. Founder Content Creation
You will be the dedicated creator behind our founders’ personal brand content. This includes:
• Working directly with CEO Manick Bhan and co-founder Sophia Deluz-Bhan to develop, script, shoot, and produce high-quality video and written content.
• Developing recurring content formats: interview series, behind-the-scenes content, thought leadership pieces, reaction videos, event recaps, and more.
• Building an editorial calendar for founder content and ensuring consistent publishing cadence across LinkedIn, YouTube, X (Twitter), and other platforms.
• Ghostwriting or drafting written content (LinkedIn posts, threads, short-form) when needed.
• Studying what top founder-led brands do (Lovable, Figma, Linear) and continuously iterating on format, quality, and engagement.
3. Brand Content Strategy & Hands-On Creation
Beyond founder content, you will contribute to the broader brand content ecosystem:
• Creating and producing social media content — short-form video, graphics, carousels, and written posts for Search Atlas brand channels.
• Developing content for product launches, feature announcements, and campaigns.
• Producing educational content for our community: tutorials, challenge recaps, summit highlights, and how-to videos.
• Collaborating with the VP of Brand on category narrative content: manifesto videos, “State of Agentic Marketing” visual content, and PR-ready assets.
• Creating content for events, conferences, and speaking engagements (sizzle reels, speaker support, live event content).
4. Quality & Brand Consistency
• Maintain and enforce brand guidelines across all video and visual content.
• Ensure a cohesive visual language and tone across all platforms and content types.
• Review and provide creative direction on content produced by team members, freelancers, and agencies.
• Stay current on platform trends, content formats, and best practices for video and social media.
What Success Looks Like
• Our founders have a consistent, high-quality content engine that publishes regularly and drives measurable engagement and awareness.
• Video production runs smoothly: shoots are well-organized, edits are delivered on time, and quality consistently improves.
• Search Atlas brand content competes with the best in tech — people screenshot it, share it, and talk about it.
• You have built reliable workflows for coordinating external videographers, internal editors, and freelance talent.
• The content you create directly contributes to Search Atlas’s brand recognition and category leadership in agentic marketing.
Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in content creation, video production, or brand marketing at a technology company, media company, agency, or creator-led brand.
• Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality video content end-to-end: concept, scripting, shooting (or directing), editing, and publishing.
• Experience managing video production workflows — coordinating videographers, editors, and production teams across multiple simultaneous projects.
• Strong portfolio showing a range of content: brand videos, social content, founder/executive content, product storytelling, and/or event coverage.
• Excellent writing skills — you can draft a LinkedIn post, write a video script, and create a social caption with equal fluency.
• Proficiency with video editing tools (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent) and comfort providing detailed feedback on edits.
• Experience working directly with executives or founders on personal brand content.
• Comfortable in front of and behind the camera — you can direct a shoot, operate a camera if needed, and coach non-performers to be great on video.
Strongly Preferred
• Experience at a high-growth B2B SaaS company or a design-forward tech brand (Figma, Notion, Linear, Canva, Stripe, Webflow, or similar).
• Experience building or contributing to a founder-led content program or executive thought leadership engine.
• Familiarity with AI tools for content creation and production workflows.
• Experience with community-driven content and education-focused video (tutorials, courses, challenges, summit-style events).
• Understanding of social media analytics and the ability to use data to inform content strategy.
• Motion graphics or animation skills are a strong plus.
• Photography skills for portrait, lifestyle, and event photography.
Who You Are
You are a maker first. You have a reel, a portfolio, or a body of work that makes people say “I want that person making our content.” You are not someone who only strategizes — you pick up the camera, open the timeline, write the script, and ship the thing.
But you are also strategic. You understand why content matters, not just how to make it look good. You think about narrative, audience, distribution, and impact. You can connect a single LinkedIn video to a broader category strategy. You understand that great brand content is a growth lever, not a vanity project.
You are organized and operational. Managing multiple shoots, editors, deadlines, and stakeholders is second nature. You build systems that make production predictable and scalable, not chaotic and ad hoc.
You are excited about working in-person in San Francisco, being embedded with the team, and traveling when the work requires it — whether that’s a customer summit, a partner shoot, or an industry event.
You have high taste. You know the difference between “good enough” and “great,” and you push for great. You study the best content in tech and bring that standard to everything you produce.
Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: $130,000 – $155,000
Equity: Equity grant included. Details shared during the interview process.
Benefits: Health, dental, vision, 401(k), flexible PTO, SF office access.
Some domestic travel required for events, shoots, and on-location production.
