Hi! We're Search Atlas, a fast-growing SaaS company at $30M+ ARR — and we're building the accounting function that will take us to $100M and beyond.

We're looking for a sharp, SaaS-savvy Accounting Manager who can own the numbers, lead our migration from cash to accrual accounting, and help us build a scalable financial foundation. This is a high-ownership role with direct visibility to leadership — not a bookkeeping seat.

What You’ll Do

• Lead transition from cash basis to accrual accounting

• Implement proper revenue recognition (deferred revenue, subscriptions, refunds)

• Own monthly close process

• Ensure Stripe-to-QuickBooks accuracy

• Maintain clean, audit-ready financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)

• Establish accounting policies aligned with US GAAP

• Coordinate with external US CPA firm for tax compliance

• Improve reporting visibility for leadership

What We Need

• 5+ years accounting experience

• Direct experience with SaaS companies, ideally 2+ years of SaaS accounting experience

• Strong QuickBooks Online expertise

• Deep understanding of:

  • Deferred revenue

  • Subscription accounting

  • Accrual accounting principles

• Experience with Stripe

• CPA is a plus, not a requirement. SaaS experience is non-negotiable.

Compensation

• $35-40 an hour
